I am an engineer with the passion to turn complex problems into simple and when not working on my numerical models, I love to stay with my newborn Gaia and take her for a stroll at the many parks around Perth. I have a curious and restless mind, always looking for new tests and ways to do better. So, do you have any new challenge for me? 😉

Electronics
It’s great to tinker and create some cool stuff; even if  very nerdy, it’s a hobby that suits my profile pretty well 🙂 more to come on the Article section, stay tuned!
Photography
I especially love landscaping, but I use my DSRL for portraits as well; lately my little daughter is offering me the perfect subject! Have a look at the gallery page for some examples!
Drones
This is the perfect mix of photography, electronics and flight experience: how could i miss it?
Motorbiking
To explore new winding roads with the roar of the engine and the wind on my helmet: this is my idea of freedom! (yeah, ok… sounds a bit like the motto from Life magazine…)
Diving
The world is too much of a magic place to limit yourself to just scratch the surface: dive in!
Fishing
Fly fishing on a mountain stream, surfcasting from the beach, or bottom fishing from a boat in the middle of the South China Sea in an international competition… This is a great way to relax!
Trekking
I started trekking with my university friends: from then the love for mountains and hike empty fields became a true passion.
Reading
I read everything: from literature to technical manuals, from hobby booklets to economics issues: it’s the best way to feed my desire to know.
Cooking
I started cooking my country’s thousands of dishes when I left Italy; this was a way to feel a bit closer to home and now it’s just a passion and a great way to socialise: fancy some real Italian pasta? 🙂
Volunteering
I think it’s important to leave a good legacy and volunteering is a great way to give back to society. I was Red Cross volunteer, blood donor and recently I joined Epic, a building ONG for indigenous population of Malaysia.
